I have added image support to piaine. Images are delineated similarly to links, but with a | character in place of the link delimiter. Currently only supports images and alt text. The image source should be local and saved in a content folder in the root of the sites folder. This is manual for now, and I don't think it makes much sense to make it copy content from a different folder given the simplicity and lightweight nature of it.
